All Set ... And Ready For HOME!

Welcome Lainey Elizabeth!

Our New Baby GIRL!

The moment we have all been waiting for ... SHE is finally here! Lainey Elizabeth Homesley is here and she is perfect! She weighed 7 pounds 1.5 ounces and 18 inches long. Late Thursday night my water broke ... so we headed to the hospital! We were full of anticipation and after much counseling and consideration we decided to go with a repeat c-section. She was born on May 23rd at 5:49am. Brayden has been great with her and is so excited that she is finally here. It was a little hard for him having to leave us at the hospital but its Sunday now and we are home and very happy to be here. She has been such a great baby and is adjusting smoothly. Eating and sleeping very well. What an amazing blessing - Praise God! She is the sweetest thing!

Our First Visitor...

We have our very first visitor! We are so happy to have MamMa here visiting, she got here on Thursday and will be staying for almost a month! Brayden is so excited to have her here. We picked her up at the airport and then brought her to the house to settle in and rest for a little while, then we headed downtown for a yummy supper at The Cheesecake Factory! On our way back to the car we made a parrot pitstop and got some great pics!
Still no baby...just going day to day, waiting for his/her debut! We go back to the doctor Tuesday, and hopefully things are moving along good...or - maybe we'll already have a baby!
We'll see...

THE HOMECOMING!

Words cannot even begin to describe the excitment of seeing the ship pull in...and then spotting 'our' sailor out of all of then...it was great! It was a really heartwarming experience to see all the families reunite. What an awesome sacrifice made ... Thank you USS Port Royal!
Brayden was totally excited to see Jeremy, and ran right up to him when he was able to get off the ship...I don't think either of them wanted to let go of eachother.
It is the strangest thing - being apart for so long, and then all of the sudden together again. Almost as if we were never apart. It is so good to hear Brayden yelling "Daddy" in our house, it really feels like home now! Brayden is so happy to have another playmate (one that is able to wrestle around and play rough)! We are so proud of you Daddy...and are so happy to have you home!
